Describe the characteristics that identify a constellation:

The apparent magnitude of the stars and the stars or messier objects that are in it. Also you can find the constellation with star maps.

Describe the three main types of galaxies:

Spiral galaxy: Looks like a spiral when it spins. Elliptical galaxy: Shaped like an egg. Irregular galaxy: Has no shape at all.

Explain the big bang theory:

We see objects in the night sky move further away from us. The theory we use to figure this out is called the big bang theory. Once the universe was one huge sphere. Then that sphere exploded releasing thousands of stars and galaxies. Now because of the big bang the objects we see in the sky at night move further away.
