<p>Magma cools into Igneous rock then heat and pressure turns it into a metamorphic rock next the meta morphic rock would break into sediments by weathering and erosion then the sediment would cement into sedimentary rock then melt into magma.</p>
<p>Magma becomes Igneous the igneous rock would erode and become sediments, the sediments pressurize into a sedimentary rock and they become metamorphic and they melt.</p>

<p>Basalt:</p>

Like sand, sandstone may be any colour, but the most common colours are tan, brown, yellow, red, gray, pink, white and black.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>There are well over 3,000 kinds of minerals. Minerals come in different types and characteristics. Some minerals are hard to come across. People even collect minerals. No collection in the world is even close to being complete. There is specialized collecting which most collectors use. Minerals exist in certain areas of the world. There are two popular types of collecting. Thumbnail and Micromount, are collections that are easy to store. Thumbnail is collection minerals that are 1 inch small. Micromount is colllecting minerals that are smaller than one inch. You can display your minerals in a glass cabinet. But doing so you have to put space and money into consideration. An ameature stores his/her mineral collection in a box or egg cartons. Soon he/she will want to advance his or her storage limitations. When collecting a mineral you can give it a label. On a label, it should have the location from where the mineral came from and also the type the mineral is. If you purchase a mineral be sure to ask about the location and type of mineral it is. Minerals need to be handled and kept in certain condidtions. Minerals can break, rust, disintigrate if not handled properly. When displaying minerals make sure to keep distance between minerals when storing them and displaying them.</p>

<p>Color:  Is an unreliable clue to isentifying the mineral because weathered surfaces may hide the color of minerals. For example, Iron Pyrite is the color of gold, but appears dark yellow when it is weathered.</p>
<p>Luster: Light reflected on a mineral is called Luster. Minerals with a polished surface are said to have a mettalic luster. Minerals that look like glass have a glassy luster. Things like that.</p>
<p>Streak: The color of mineral in powder form is called streak. You can see this easily if you rub a rock on a hard surface and see the powder on the ground.</p>
<p>Cleavage and fracture: Some minerals split easy. Mica has tetrahedral sheets, and they tend to split into parralel sheets, and this is called cleavage. Many minerals don&#8217;t have cleavage instead they break or fracture.</p>
<p>Hardness: The measure of the ability of a mineral to resist scratching. Hardness does not mean resistance to cleavage or fracture. To test an unknown mineral for hardness, you must determine which is the hardest mineral it can scratch. For example, galena can scratch gypsum but not calcite.</p>
<p>Crystal shape: Each kind of mineral is characterized by crystals of a specific shape.</p>
<p>Density: Density is the ratio of the mass of a substance to its volume. The density of a mineral depends on the kinds of atoms it contains and how closely they are packed.</p>

<p>Special properties of minerals:</p>
<p>Magnetism: A magnet passed through some sand or loose soil may attract small particles of iron containing minerals.</p>
<p>Fluorescence, and Phosphorescence: Fluorescence is the ability to glow under ultra-violet light. Phosporescence is the ability to glow even after exposure to ultraviolet light.</p>
<p>Double Refraction: Light rays bend as they pass through transparent minerals. Light passing from one substance to another is called refracting. Double refraction is caused when light splits into two rays of light.</p>
<p>Radioactivity: Some minerals have radioactivity. Radioactivity results as an unstable nuclei decay over time into stable nuclei by releasing particles and energy.</p>

<p>Amethyst can be found in many parts of the world; however Southern Brazil and Uruguay have the largest deposits in the world. Madagascar is also well known for its Amethyst deposits. In Germany, there are many areas where Amethyst have been found including the Idar- Oberstein district in Germany and Russia also has some deposits, mainly near the Ural Mountains. In the United States, Amethyst can be found, however it is usually not jewelry grade.</p>

<p>A. Yes you can. I had a telescope once, looked at a star, and the color appeared red! So you will be able to see color through a telescope.</p>

<p>A. It is easy! Even without the telescope all you have to do is STARE at it! Actually, that wouldn&#8217;t be a good idea. Even with a telescope if you look at it your eyesight will be damaged in less than a minute.</p>

<p>A. Well that question is somewhat easy to answer. You can get a telescope by buying it on Amazon, Ebay or something like that but if you want to find one at a store around where you live I think it might be hard to find, unless you ask the staff at a store that carries many items. heh&#8230;</p>

<p>A. Not really. In fact I don&#8217;t think telescopes need electricity at all. I honestly think some scientist out there has a telescope that can detect radio waves.</p>

<p>Pulsars is the form of a star after it dies. *boom* When it becomes a neutron star. It might be something else. A star that emits two beams of radiation that sweeps across space. The stars that does that are called Pulsars.</p>
<p>Quasars are close to relation to a star, they are so unusual, distant, and they move haster than anything else in the universe. It is said that quasars have black holes in their centers.</p>
